The cause of Acne.... The cause of Acne is quite simple, it starts to develop once hair follicles in your skin start to become blocked with “natural” oils in your skin and also dead skin cells. Your hair follicles are all connected to gland called the “sebaceous gland” that is located just underneath your skins surface. your sebaceous glands produce “sebum” that keeps your skin soft. Sebum travels up your follicles and out through the pores on the surface of your skin. The problem arises when your body produces too much sebum, and dead skin cells will get trapped in your pores allowing a “spot” to form being either a blackhead or whitehead. Sometimes an inflammation can occur on the surface of your skin causing yellow or red spots.
